Matt Shadetek is one of New York City’s most exciting producers. His live sets encompass contemporary dancehall, UK funky, and dubstep, all delivered with Shadetek’s unique production voice which bridges the underground-mainstream divide. For the past three years, he has paired up with Guyana-born, Brooklyn-based vocalist Jahdan Blakkamoore. Shadetek produced Jahdan’s debut album, Buzzrock Warrior (!K7), pioneering its signature reggae-dubstep-rap sound.

Their live show brings this world to life: Jahdan’s gripping, soulful vocals accompany Matt’s groundbreaking production. Intense crowd interaction, live beat-freakery, and FX pull it all together. Shadetek is one of the rare DJs who can rock a crowd with sets composed solely of his own dancefloor bangers and remixes. This, combined with Jahdan’s field-tested expertise in commanding a crowd’s attention and his generosity as a vocalist, has led to a series of blazing gigs across US and Europe.
