6 Years Deep EP #3: Mas Grave Que Bajo

On the occasion of its 6 year anniversary, Dutty Artz is proud to present the third in a four part series of geographically-oriented EPs that make up the 6 Years Deep compilation (part 1 here, part 2 here):

Mas Grave Que Bajo
01 – Lao – Tribal Ha
02 – Uproot Andy  – Worldwide Dembow feat. Pablo Piddy
03 – Mpeach- Prendelo feat. Dj Yirvin & Dj Edward A (Original Mix)
04 – El Remolon -  El Preferido
05 – Rafi eL – Siempre Quiero Mas feat. Heidy

This time we have a series of producers representing a pan-Latin American spectrum from North America, South America, and the Caribbean. Que Bajo maestro Geko Jones chimed in to help select some serious dance floor burners! D.F. based Lao represents México with 3Ball Ha, mashing the 6/8 dance style gaining steam out of Monterrey (but originated in the capital) with the New York Vogue House anthem! Uproot Andy turns in his much anticipated Dem-boh heater - Worldwide Dembow featuring Dominican rappero Pablo Piddy. Mpeach teams up with Venezuelan homies DJ Yirvin and DJ Edward A, taking you from Caracas to New York and back with their Tuki-House interpretation. El Remolon handles a trusty Cumbia Villera inspired chugger from Bueno Aires, and Rafi eL rounds it out with his cover of the 80′s classic I Just Can’t Get Enough by Depeche Mode.

And to keep with the literary theme of this EP series, the cover is taken from an edition of Edward Galeano’s Las Venas Abiertas de America Latina.

The tracks will be sent out exclusively to the Dutty Artz mailing list before they go on sale in December, so if you would like to get your hands on them early and for free, sign up now below!

Also, just as before, we are offering a special treat to accompany the EP, a collaborative mix between Geko Jones and Mpeach, stream and download below!
