NO REST FOR THE WICKED

DON’T CHAT TO MAN..

Grime fans appreciate good drama, but things have been incredibly dull lately. Watching the f@*kery between Jammer and Lethal B the last few weeks has been somewhat painful and entertaining at the same time. Their dispute, reignited recently, apparently goes back to around the time when Bizzle’s “Pow” came out. They’ve have been going back and forth, trading insults, making threats, doing a bunch of unsurprising ish MCs do these days via Grime Daily/youtube. Take a look at Jammer here, drunk and shirtless telling everybody to suck their mum -

Bizzle’s actual youtube reply to Jammer’s comment is now private – but he made a terrible diss track which inspired an appalling and hilarious fan-created video -

What happened to making good old-fashion war dubs, you ask? Well, MCs prefer chatting s#!t via youtube. It’s easier and quicker, and sometimes it’s even more entertaining/funnier than music. But chatting is boring after a while so Jammer went in and made this war dub, which is perhaps the best thing to come out of the whole.. situation -

Jammer – Lethal Bizzle War Dub

As for the beef between Wiley and Skepta (both artists recently put out solid albums) it has been producing some uninteresting results.

Ghetts is lookin like Chris Rock on the rock. Not a good look for grime.

Ghetts is always hype, which is always good in my book.

What I find even more funny is the way Frisco appeared in front of the camera, with that look on his face, and start rapping –

“well, you’re not ready.. the black Nigerians always…”
